Fall Weekend Camp

Dear parents, students and friends of School KARANDASH!

Russian school “KARANDASH” invites you to camp with us on September 17-18 in San Juan Capistrano mountains. The purpose of this event is to support and promote Russian language communication between kids in local Russian-speaking community. Our teachers have prepared various educational & entertainment programs. This event is tailored mostly for upper elementary – middle school students, however, everybody is welcome to participate.

Please RSVP in advance by e-mail to nataliavik@mailcity.com   This event is by invitation only, as space is limited, so reserve your spot early. You will receive confirmation of your reservation with all necessary information.

Some details you should know:

1. The ticket is $20/car. Please bring cash to the campground along with your confirmation

2. Check in time: Saturday, Sep. 17 at 2:00 PM, check out time: Sunday, Sep.18 at 2:00 PM

3. Please bring one wrapped gift per child attending the camp for a min $5. Write the age group on the wrapping paper. The gifts will be used for different children’s activities.

4. We will have “a sweet table”, you are welcome to provide anything you would like to share with others (fruits, cookies, juice, etc.)

5. Please bring firewood. Collecting the wood on the campground is prohibited.

6. Tents, sleeping bags, camping gear – essential. We will help arrange sharing if you do not have your own.
