Summer School

Dear parents,

We started enrollment for summer session!  Our summer session will include both classes and fieldtrips.  To register for summer classes or to request additional information, please call (949) 509-9242, or e-mail to Ira Frantsuzova  ifrantsuzova@yahoo.com.  Classes will be at UCI on Saturdays in 601 Humanities Hall (same location).

Activites offered:

Russian Language: vocabulary development, comprehension and pronunciation, linguistic games (riddles, tongue-twisters and more)

Puppet Show: make puppets and produce a real puppet show.

Art: drawing, clay, applications and models.  Older children will also make props for the puppet show, so we recommend them to take Art and Puppet Show together

Nature: uncover the secrets of nature, weather, animals, and ocean fauna.

Fieldtrips: Zoo, Ocean, Museum, Forest

Classroom instruction: 10 July, 24 July, 7 Aug, 21 Aug:

9:00 - 9:45:     Russian

10:00 - 10:45: Art

10:45 -11:30:  supervised brunch and  active play (free of charge)

11:30- 12:30:  Puppet Show

12:30-1:30:     Nature

Fieldtrips: 10:00 – 1:00

July 17 - Zoo

July 31 - Ocean

August 14 - Museum

August 28 - Forest ( Celebration of  the last day of  the summer session)

Children will have plenty of Russian language activities during fieldtrip.

Fees:

$7.00 – one class

$20.00 – one fieldtrip

$5.00 – additional material fees  for Art and Puppet Show
